In the Area

Plemet is a small market town with banks, post office, boulangeries and a Super U supermarket on the edge of the town.
  A traditional market is held around the church every Tuesday morning.



The unspoilt beaches of the northern coast are around 40mins drive away inlcuding
Pleneauf Val Andre (pictured above)



The spectacular Lac de Guerledan is approx 25 mins away.

Two minutes walk away is the Sports and Nature Centre where
Canoe/Kayaks and VTT (Mountain Bikes) can be hired
Paddling along the river, the scenery takes on a whole new perspective,
 watching the wildlife as you meander past.



The medieval town of Dinan is about 45 minutes drive, with its old cobbled streets, ramparts and old port.  Every other year there is a medieval festival through the streets.



Shopping in Loudeac, Pontivy, Rennes and St Brieuc.



The market town of Josselin is about 20 mins drive away.  A traditional market takes
place on a Saturday morning through the streets.  The Chateau above sits on the side of the
Nantes/Brest canal and is open to the public.



On the south coast is Vannes and nearby fishing port of Auray

Why not stop off at one of the many restaurants and enjoy a Crepe or Gallette,
a Breton speciality,  accompanied by a "bowl" of refreshing Breton Cider!
